Withdrawal of suspension of authorisation of MPS MARKETPLACE SECURITIES LTD by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission

On 25 September 2019, the Malta Financial Services Authority (the “MFSA”) issued a public notice to inform the general public that the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”) has suspended the authorisation of MPS MARKETPLACE SECURITIES LTD (“the Company”) to provide or carry out investment services or activities.

Pursuant to a notification submitted by CySEC, the MFSA hereby informs the general public that CySEC has, with effect from 29 April 2021, withdrawn the suspension of the authorisation of the Company. Accordingly, the Company is once again authorised by CySEC to provide investment services and activities as an investment firm. Following such withdrawal of suspension and with effect from 29 April 2021, the Company may once again passport its services in Malta under the Markets in Financial Instrument Directive (Directive 2014/65/EU).
