Further to the Malta Financial Services Authority’s public notice issued on the 5 June 2017, the MFSA hereby informs the public that it has been notified that on 2 October 2017, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission decided to withdraw the suspension of the authorisation of Gametech (Cyprus) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as  “the Company”). In the meantime, the Company changed its name to GWG (CYPRUS) Limited. Accordingly, the Company is once again authorised by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to carry out investment services and activities as an investment firm. Following such withdrawal of suspension, the Company resumed passporting its services in Malta in terms of Article 34 of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Directive 2014/65/EU).
