Withdrawal of authorisation of Trademarker (Cyprus) Ltd by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission
JULY 20, 2016

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has notified the Malta Financial Services Authority that, in terms of its decision of the 25th April 2016, it has wholly withdrawn the licence of Trademarker (Cyprus) Ltd and, accordingly, the company is no longer authorised by the said Commission to carry out investment and ancillary services and activities as an investment firm. The company is therefore no longer authorised to passport its services in Malta under Article 31 of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Directive (EU) 2004/39/EC).

In this respect, the company was requested by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission to:

  1. return to all of its clients any money owed with immediate effect and within three months at the latest; and
  2. examine and solve all complaints before it within three months.

In view of the aforementioned revocation of licence by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, the Malta Financial Services Authority strongly advises against responding to any offer of financial services from Trademarker (Cyprus) Ltd.
