This notice is to make the general public aware that VFAE Limited (“the Company”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the voluntary suspension of the registration which was issued to the Company to act as a VFA Agent in terms of Article 7 and Article 14 of the Virtual Financial Assets Act, 2018. The MFSA has accepted the Company’s request and will be suspending its VFA registration for a period of six months. This suspension is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 15 September 2020, and until further notice, the Company’s VFA registration is in suspension.
