This notice is to make the general public aware that La Valette Funds SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the surrender of the collective investment scheme licences granted in relation to the following Sub-Funds:

• La Valette Malta Fund;
• La Valette Sterling Money Fund; and
• La Valette Far East Opportunities Fund (collectively referred to as “the SubFunds”).

The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 3 June 2014, the Sub-Funds ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
