This notice is to make the general public aware that HSBC Structured Funds SICAV plc (“the Scheme”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept surrender of the collective investment scheme licence granted in relation to “Capital Protected Accelerator Fund No 1”. The MFSA has accepted the Scheme’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 24th November, 2010 Capital Protected Accelerator Fund No 1 ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
