This notice is to make the general public aware that Erste Bank (Malta) Limited (“the Bank”) recently requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the surrender of the Category 2 investment services licence. The MFSA has accepted the Bank’s request. This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 12 May 2014, the Bank ceased to be licensed by the MFSA in terms of the Investment Services Act.
