Regulatory Action against Collective Investment Scheme – Ref: 2026-35

The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) decided to proceed with imposing an administrative penalty of five thousand and seven hundred Euro (€5,700) on the Alternative Investment Fund (“AIF”).

BREACHES

The MFSA determined that the AIF has acted in breach of SLC 3.38, SLC 5.06, SLC 5.09 and SLC 5.06 (i)(ii)(iii) of Part B of the Investment Services Rules for Alternative Investment Funds as it failed to submit the Auditor’s Management Letter, the Audited Financial Statements, the Custodian’s Report, the Annual Fund Return, the Representation Sheet and the Auditor’s Report (both related to the Annual Fund Return) for the financial year ended 31 December 2023 within the regulatory deadline.

REGULATORY ACTION

On 8 October 2026, the MFSA decided to impose an administrative penalty of five thousand and seven hundred Euro (€5,700) on the AIF.
