The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) decided to proceed with imposing an administrative penalty of four thousand Euro (€4,000) on the Professional Investor Fund.

BREACHES

The MFSA determined that the Professional Investor Fund has acted in breach of SLC 1.62 of Part Bii of the Investment Services Rules for PIFs and SLC 1.89 of Part Bi of the Investment Services Rules for PIFs as it failed to submit the Audited Financial Statements, Annual Fund Return, Fund Return Representation Sheet, Auditor’s Report on the Annual Fund Return and the Custodian Report for financial year ended 31 December 2021 within the regulatory deadline.

REGULATORY ACTION

On 17 December 2025, the MFSA decided to impose an administrative penalty of four thousand Euro (€4,000) on the Professional Investor Fund.
