The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) decided to proceed with imposing an administrative penalty of two thousand seven hundred and fifty Euro (€2,750) on the Professional Investor Fund.

BREACHES

The MFSA determined that the Professional Investor Fund has acted in breach of SLC 1.62 of Part Bii of the Investment Services Rules for PIFs and SLC 4.1 of Appendix 1 to the Rules for PIFs as it failed to submit the Annual Report (including Audited Financial Statements and Auditor’s Confirmation for financial year ended 31 May 2021 within the regulatory deadline.

REGULATORY ACTION

On 17 December 2025, the MFSA decided to impose an administrative penalty of two thousand seven hundred and fifty Euro (€2,750) on the Professional Investor Fund.
