This notice is to make the general public aware that Chartered Trust Limited (“the Company”) requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the surrender of the licence which was issued to the company to act as a trustee or co-trustee in terms of Article 43(3) of the Trusts and Trustees Act. The MFSA has accepted the surrender of such licence.  This surrender is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA.  Accordingly, with effect from 30 December 2013, the Company ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
