This notice is to make the general public aware that Mediterranean Corporate Bank Ltd - a company authorised to carry on the business of banking in terms of the Banking Act 1994 (Cap. 371, of the Laws of Malta) (“the Act”) - has merged into Mediterranean Bank plc, a company which is also authorised to carry on the business of banking in terms of the Act. Consequently, Mediterranean Corporate Bank Ltd.’s authorisation ceased to be operative upon the effective date of the merger, being 22 June 2017. The merger is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA.
