The general public should be aware that following a decision of the Board of Directors of La Valette Funds SICAV plc (‘the Scheme’) to surrender the collective investment scheme licence granted under the Investment Services Act, 1994 to the Scheme in respect of the La Valette Developing Country High Yield Fund (‘the Fund’), the Directors of the Scheme have requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (‘the MFSA’) to accept the surrender of the Collective Investment Scheme Licence of the Fund. The MFSA has agreed. Accordingly with effect from 11th October 2002 the La Valette Developing Country High Yield Fund, ceased to be licensed by the MFSA.
