EU-Level Data Centralisation Ensures the Best Use of Regulators’ Resources – Christopher P. Buttigieg

“Investment in data centralisation and management is crucial from a European perspective in terms of ensuring that regulators' limited resources are used more effectively at an EU level.”  This was highlighted by the MFSA's Chief Officer Supervision Christopher P. Buttigieg during an interview at the 4th Annual Fintech and Regulation Conference held early in March. He emphasised that cooperation through the centralisation of data management resources could also lead to better effectiveness through economies of scale on the European stage.
