The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) decided to proceed with imposing an administrative penalty of five thousand and two hundred Euro (€5,200) on the Alternative Investment Fund (“AIF”).
BREACHES
The MFSA determined that the AIF has acted in breach of SLC 5.06, SLC 5.06 (i)(ii)(iii), SLC 3.38 and SLC 5.09 of Part B of the Investment Services Rules for Alternative Investment Funds as it failed to submit the Audited Financial Statements, Annual Fund Return, Representation Sheet and Auditor’s Report (both related to the Annual Fund Return), Auditor’s Management Letter and Custodian’s Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 within the regulatory deadline.
REGULATORY ACTION
On 8 June 2026, the MFSA decided to impose an administrative penalty of five thousand and two hundred Euro (€5,200) on the AIF.
