What was your best achievement in 2020?

2020 was a year full of changes. A major change within the MFSA was the setting up of the new Supervisory Quality Assurance function. The function is now up and running and we are an additional second line of defence within the Authority.

What would you like to achieve in 2021?

In 2021 it is crucial to continue to consolidate the function and increase quality awareness within the Authority. The MFSA has set out very ambitious plans, based on the 2021 Supervisory Priorities and there are a lot of changes in the pipeline. Therefore, it is important that these are reviewed from a quality perspective at this initial stage.

What is the first word that comes to your mind when you hear 2020?

Unexpected.
