The Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) decided to proceed with imposing an administrative penalty of one thousand Euro (€1,000) on the Professional Investor Fund.

BREACHES

The MFSA determined that the Professional Investor Fund has acted in breach of SLC 1.62(i) and SLC 1.62(ii) of the Investment Services Rules for PIFs as it failed to submit the Annual Fund Return and the Fund Return Representation Sheet for financial year ended 31 July 2023 within the regulatory deadline.

REGULATORY ACTION

On 19 February 2026 the MFSA decided to impose an administrative penalty of one thousand Euro (€1,000) on the Professional Investor Fund.
