STM Malta Pension Services Limited (“the Company”) requested the Malta Financial Services Authority (“MFSA”) to accept the termination of registration of the STM Malta Occupational Retirement Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) as an Occupational Retirement Scheme in terms of the Retirement Pensions Act, Cap. 514. The MFSA has accepted the Company’s request. The termination is entirely voluntary and does not arise as a result of any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. Accordingly, with effect from 2 October 2023 the Scheme is no longer registered as an Occupational Retirement Scheme in terms of the Retirement Pensions Act, Cap. 514.
