Melanie Bonnici - Facilities Coordinator, Administration & Facilities, MFSA
Melanie joined the MFSA in 2017 as a clerk within the Administration & Facilities function. A year later, she was promoted to an Administrative Assistant within the same function. This role gave her the opportunity to perform procurement and logistics related tasks and to actively contribute to tendering processes. After almost two years in this role, she was promoted to Facilities Coordinator, a role which she still occupies today. On a daily basis, she is responsible for coordinating all building related services while ensuring uninterrupted operations, with the ultimate goal to make the MFSA the ‘best place to work’.

Since I joined the MFSA, I have had the opportunity to work with talented, diligent and enthusiastic individuals who have certainly helped me to strengthen my technical acumen. The Authority offers a vast range of opportunities for all employees to continue enhancing their knowledge, skills and performance at the workplace. Through the support of the Financial Supervisors Academy, I have enrolled in various training courses related to operations, facilities, and project management, as well as others which focused on human resources concepts and soft skills. I am keen to embark on other opportunities which are constantly being offered at the MFSA to continue learning and developing my career, in preparation for greater responsibilities in the future.
