Appointment of Liquidator

The Malta Financial Services Authority (the “Authority”) is seeking to appoint a person to act as liquidator for the purposes of winding up the affairs of companies which conducted business as insurance intermediaries under the Insurance Business Act (Cap. 403) and the Insurance Brokers and Other Intermediaries Act (Cap. 404).

Qualified persons are invited to declare their interest to the Authority on or before Thursday 17 th March 2005 and to submit details in respect of:

(a) acquired expertise in connection with the auditing, controllership and / or liquidation of companies in general and companies in the financial sector in particular;

(b) past and present assignments that are deemed relevant to the provision of the services of a liquidator; and

(c) the charge-out rates applicable to the assignments pursuant to the service.

The Authority reserves the right not to appoint any of the persons that declare their interest in response to this call.

Declarations of interest in sealed envelopes marked “Confidential” shall be addressed for the attention of the Director General, Malta Financial Services Authority, Notabile Road Attard BKR 14.
