Gordon Scicluna – Head, Administration & Facilities

Gordon Scicluna is Head of Administration & Facilities, and Business Manager to the Chief Operations Officer, responsible for the oversight of the Authority’s building management services, as well as support in the coordination of the Operations Directorate’s priority projects.

Gordon joined the MFSA in April 2020 after a 30-year long successful career at HSBC Bank Malta plc. Gordon held various senior positions there, including as Head of Business Banking, managing a team of relationship managers handling a portfolio of around 12,000 small business customers.  Gordon also led the bank’s commercial payments and invoice finance team. He also worked in retail banking as Qormi branch manager and as the head of the call centre. Gordon also worked within the operations function of the bank as part of the change delivery team.
