Conference Hall, Trident Park, Birkirkara
This event has already passed and registrations are closed.
The MFSA is organising its second workshop on asset management as part of the authority’s ongoing commitment to engaging proactively with the industry. The workshop will focus on the discussions related to the Marketing Integration Package, which is expected to impact, amongst others, the AIFMD and UCITS frameworks. This session will provide an overview of the proposed amendments and the anticipated changes related to simplification and burden reduction.
This meeting will also serve as a forum for fund managers to exchange their views and discuss any issues that may pose challenges to the Maltese fund industry.
During the workshop, the Authority will also share updates on its work on the ELTIF framework, including the publication of a regulatory brochure and the amendments to the local framework enabling ELTIFs to be established through a Notified AIF Structure.
Finally we would also like to share with you the outcome, on an aggregate basis, of our AIFMD II preparedness review which provides insight into how the Maltese fund industry has risen to the compliance challenge brought about by this Directive, as well as the approach adopted by the Authority in the context of Liquidity Management Tools.
We look forward to seeing you at this event which is being held at the Conference Hall, Trident Park, Birkirkara.
