Antoaneta Iossifova – Head, People & Culture


Having been instrumental in implementing MFSA’s 3-year HR Strategy between 2019 and 2021, Antoaneta Iossifova was appointed Head of People & Culture in November 2021. She also serves as MFSA’s Ethics Officer and as the Head of the Authority’s Financial Supervisors Academy.

She has public and private sector experience in Europe, North America and the Middle East, in the fields of human resources, operations and client relations. Antoaneta has lived and worked in seven different countries, recruiting, training and leading employees from over 30 nationalities across various sectors and geographically dispersed business regions. Her career has included senior leadership roles, where she led initiatives in HR transformation, operational effectiveness and organisational development. In all these roles, she worked with top executives to align business objectives with the people strategy.

Antoaneta is a certified trainer and neuro-linguistic programming practitioner, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the International University of Monaco, and is in the final stage of an MSc in Psychology of Work.
