About Administration & Facilities


We are looking for candidates with solid technical, academic background and experience in a similar role.

Candidates need to hold a Technical qualification in Mechanical / Electrical or HVAC and Electrical Licence “A” combined with good knowledge of the health and safety requirements emanating from legislation.

Flexibility to deal with the operational needs and emergencies outside normal working hours.

The Role


Within the role of Junior Building Services Coordinator, you will be involved in a number of duties which we have listed below:

  • Experience of working as a technician within similar establishments housing both offices and meeting areas.
  • Capable to work on his own initiative and offering first line assistance with all matters related to maintenance of plant and materials within the premises.
  • Capable of reading and compile schematics.
  • Considerable hands -on experience of general maintenance (plastering, painting, plumbing, electrical works, HVAC, ELV and other odd-jobs) and dealing with external contractors.
  • Experience with the execution of building projects and service level agreements.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand Maltese and English to communicate with management and staff effectively, clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to move throughout premises and visually inspect equipment condition on a routine basis while ensuring adequate levels of maintenance are kept throughout the premises.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage/monitor storage areas and ensure that stock levels of consumables are always at acceptable levels
  • Assist Administration in identifying/recommending suppliers who offer best quality products at the right prices
  • Any other tasks requested by his superiors.

About You

The role calls for an academic qualification in a relevant field of study at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level
